FOUNDED BY TROTTER THERAPY SERVICES
Helping
our kids put their
best
foot forward since 2022!
​Our goal is to raise funds for the purchase of athletic shoes for kids in our local schools every year.
2024
April 27th to April 28th, Trotter Therapy Services, One Bite at a Time Nutrition Counseling, and Orangetheory Fitness partnered together to bring Best Foot Forward to Youngstown, OH.
The three local businesses collaborated to create the first ever '24 Hour Treadmill Marathon & Raffle Giveaway', hosted at Trotter Therapy Services AND Orangetheory Fitness simultaneously. Over 30 local businesses donated raffle baskets for the raffle giveaway. All were welcome to participate in the tread marathon, raffle giveaway, or simply give a donation.
With the help of surrounding communities, local businesses, members of both fitness facilities, and local news outlets, $5,000 was raised in 24 hours.
The first half of donations was used to purchase shoes for kids in the Mohawk Area School District, and the remaining $2,500 was donated to the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, for athletic shoes to be distributed at their Care Closets to the Youngstown Community.
2025
With the help of our surrounding communities, businesses, Bessemer Fitness Members, Orangetheory Fitness Members, and The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley,
Best Foot Forward raised $4,100 for the purchase of athletic shoes for kids as they head into the 2025-2026 school year!
